Day 1-Friday
May 29
USA - Ireland: Depart USA on your overnight flight to Ireland. Dinner is served on board.
Day 2-Saturday
May 30

Dublin: Early morning arrival at the Dublin Airport. Having cleared Irish customs, we are greeted by our Celtic Tours representative. Transfers from Dublin Airport are at 8:15am and 11:15am to our hotel. The afternoon is free to explore the capital city of Dublin on your own.
Day 3-Sunday
May 31

Dublin-Waterford-Cork: Morning departure from our hotel, we travel south via County Kildare to Kilkenny Town where we pause to visit Kilkenny Castle, ancestral home of the Butler Clan. We continue on to the nearby Crystal City of Waterford to visit the famed Crystal Factory. Our tour continues south to Cork City for dinner and our overnight stop.
Day 4-Monday
June 1

Cork-Cobh-Blarney-Killarney: Morning visit to Cobh Heritage Center, which documents the history of the Irish emigration and the story of the ill-fated superliners- the Lusitania and Belfast-built Titanic. We continue on to Blarney for an optional visit to Blarney Castle where we have a chance to kiss the famed Blarney Stone, said to bestow eloquence on all who dare. Optional shopping for tweeds, knitwear, linen, crystal and china at nearby Blarney Woolen Mills. We travel over the scenic Cork and Kerry Mountains to Killarney for dinner and our overnight stop. Tonight we have an optional visit to the lively pubs in Killarney.
Day 5-Tuesday
June 2

Ring of Kerry-Killarney: "Heavens Reflex," Killarney, we will see, is one of Irelands loveliest districts. Poets, writers and musicians have all tried to convey its beauty of mountains and lakes. A delightful day includes a drive along the coastline of the broad Iveragh Peninsula through the villages and towns of Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Irish speaking Sneem. Dinner and our overnight stop in Killarney. This evening we have the option of visiting the pubs in Killarney.
Day 6-Wednesday
June 3

Killarney-Dingle Peninsula-Limerick: Departing Killarney, we drive along the Kerry Coast to the Dingle Peninsula, which offers magnificent coastal scenery. Beyond Slea Head, we see the Blasket Islands, the last outpost of Europe. We continue on to Quin Village where we enjoy a medieval castle banquet at Knappogue Casle. Our overnight stop is in Limerick.
Day 7-Thursday
June 4

Limerick-Galway: Morning departure from our Limerick hotel. We travel via Ennis to the scenic Cliffs of Moher where we stop for a photo-op. Continue to Ardrahan in County Galway where we pause for morning coffee/tea and scones at Rathbaun Farm. Here we will see a farming family carry out everyday chores including sheep shearing and watch as the sheepdogs maneuver the flock. We continue on to Galway City. Afternoon sightseeing includes the Gaelic speaking Connemara region. Dinner and our overnight stay are in our Galway hotel.
Day 8- Friday
June 5
Galway-Sligo-Belleek-Donegal: Morning depature from Galway. Our tour takes us north via Sligo, birthplace of W.B. Yeats to County Donegal where we cross over the border for a visit to the Belleek China Factory. After a short stop, we continue on through Donegal town and Ballybofey and along the coast of Lough Foyle to our hotel in Redcastle, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 9- Saturday
June 6
Donegal-Buncrana-Inishowen Peninsula: Today, have your camera ready as we tour the historic and scenic Inishowen Peninsula. We travel via Bruncrana, the principle town and resort of the Peninsula to Dunree where we visit the Military Fort with scenic views over Lough Swilly. The fort has a large array of large guns and artifacts from the 20th Century. The Fort and the Lough below is of immense historical interest which dates back to the Norsemen, the Anglo-Norman's and the Flight of the Earls. We continue on via Clonmany, Ballyliffin and Carndonagh where we view the 7th Century St. Patricks Cross. Our tour continues via Malin to Malin Head, a spectacular Headland on Ireland's most northerley point. Leaving Malin Head, we travel via historical Culdaff, Kinnagoe Bay and the fishing port of Greencastle to Moville where we stop breifly to visit Moville Pottery Factory. We then will continue on to our nearby hotel in Redcastle for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10-Sunday
June 7
Donegal-Coleraine-Portrush-Giant's Causeway-Belfast: Morning departure from our Donegal hotel. We travel just a few miles to the Ferry that will take us on the short 15 minute cruise across Lough Foyle to Northern Ireland.We travel via Coleraine to Portrush on the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the Giant's Causeway Museum before we are ferried by small bus to the Causeway and its volcanic columns, which were formed over 60 million years ago. Our tour continues along the scenic Antrim Coast to our Belfast hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11-Monday
June 8
Belfast-Titanic Tour-Newry-Dublin: This morning we depart on an historical tour of Belfast and its harbor and dock area, where the Titanic and her sister ships, Britanic and Olympic, were built. The Titanic keel was laid here in 1910 and the majestic ship sailed from Belfast to Southhampton in England on April 03, 1912, where she took on supplies, coal and crew for her fateful journey into destiny. Leaving Belfast, wetravel south via Newry to Dublin, arriving at our hotel approximately 3:00PM. Toniht we depart our hotel for an Irish Cabaret show and dinner at the Merry Ploughboy. Overnight in Dublin.
